Pack a lunch if you’d like to linger at the farm after the session.
Slow down and allow nature to soothe your mind, nourish your body, and rejuvenate your spirit. Forest Therapy (also known as Forest Bathing or Shinrin-yoku) is a gently guided practice that invites you to set aside technology and simply be in the moment. Invitations will be offered to engage the senses and deepen reciprocal relationships with nature, self, and others.
Bonus: This unique location offers opportunities to experience animals including goats, rabbits, chickens and ducks as well as woods, water, and a bog.
Forest Therapy at The Farm is a collaboration between Barbara Miron, Forest Therapy guide and founder of Abundant Wellness LLC, and April Hepokoski, teacher and founder of Little Barnyard Preschool LLC who will host the event on her hobby farm. Your Certified Nature and Forest Therapy guide, Barbara will offer invitations that bridge the ordinary and sacred. A wild forged tea and light snacks will conclude this 2.5 hour facilitated outdoor experience. You are welcome to bring a lunch and enjoy it on the farm after the session.
Attendance is limited to a total of 15 people. Your spot will be reserved once you have: 1) completed the registration (one form for each person who is attending) and 2) have made your payment for the event and 3) a confirmation email with details about the event has been sent to you.
