Forest Therapy is a research-based healing practice through immersion in nature with the aim of improving mental and physical health and promoting disease prevention while at the same time being able to enjoy and appreciate nature.

Returning home to nature is a crucial part of living well.

Engaging with nature not only enhances our appreciation for the living world, but also promotes mental and physical well-being. Each intentional experience in nature offers relaxation, restoration, and valuable lessons that can enhance our journey toward health, connection, self-discovery, fulfillment.

Connecting deeply with ourselves and something larger.

Forest Therapy fosters meaningful opportunities for individuals and groups to connect with themselves, others, and the living world.

Forest Therapy is different from hiking or a simple walk in the woods…

The pace is a slow saunter; walking about 1 mile in a 2.5 hour guided experience.

Immerse your senses in the ambience of nature and allow your heart to open.

A guided experience helps you rest, move slowly, and observe what you are noticing. Let what you notice find its home inside you and delight your senses.  Curiosity, playfulness, and unexpected pleasures may emerge as you give attention to the present moment . You are nature, you are welcome here, and you are home.

A Testimonial from a First Time Participant

I had my first forest bathing experience today, which felt like coming home to the safest, most inviting parts of childhood. It was like letting nature coach me in the gentlest way.

Our host, Barbara, opened several "invitations" over the course of the hours, and then we would regroup briefly to witness one another’s experiences. A magically deep and enriching time, and a lovely reminder of the kindness of trees and mosses.  ~Kristy, France
